Destination Beach Wedding in the Outer Banks
Devon and Drew live in Austin, Texas and crossed half of the country to have their destination wedding at the beach in the Outer Banks, NC. They rented big houses on the beach and everyone had a little fun vacation off of it. The weather was absolutely perfect!
The bride wore a stunning simple vintage gown, very little jewelry and had a gorgeous flower head piece and a unique boho bouquet..
A little cool fact about their wedding rings: Wayne Werner is a third generation metal smith from Baltimore and he created their custom wedding bands. Devon's engagement ring is an early 1900's antique star sapphire that she found on Ocracoke Island. How perfect and meaningful is that?
The ceremony was short and beautiful. The ocean made the perfect backdrop and the light breeze brought in all the Summer smells.
Both musicians, the bride and groom brought some New Orleans vibe to their day! The famous Second Lining. All the guests joined the bride and groom for a street parade. No band was needed, neither were drums, trumpets, saxophones or trombones. Guests had party blowouts and noise makers and a speaker pulled by a wagon echoed some sweet funk in the streets of the Outer Banks. It was SO much fun!
