Chic Inclusive Mt. Washington Mill Dye House Wedding | Baltimore, Maryland
The Mt. Washington Mill Dye House may never have seen another dance party like this one.
Maybe that’s because my couple, Ryan and Jeremy, brought a little bit of New York with them to Baltimore for this chic yet casual Fall wedding.
Though they’re both from the Midwest, these two lovebirds met when they found their way to the Big Apple in pursuit of some higher education. Ryan was working at a J Crew in Rockefeller Center when Jeremy showed up to his first day of work as the new Assistant Manager.
Over time, they bonded and became the best of friends, but it wasn’t until Jeremy had left for another job that they started to connect out in the real world.
That friendship turned into love, and 3 states, 2 apartments, a global pandemic and one adorable adopted dog later, Jeremy and Ryan knew they were ready to make it official.
Though they’re right at home in New York, Jeremy is in love with all things Broadway and stage production, and Ryan has a background in fashion, the two decided to have a destination wedding of sorts in the Baltimore area.
I can understand why, the Dye House is a pretty spectacular space with its historic architecture and urban but polished industrial feel. They fell in love with the space, decided the Revival Hotel would be a stylish place to get ready, and they were set for their sleek modern wedding!
When I saw the first of Ryan’s ensembles for the day, I knew the whole thing was going to be a look. I expected nothing less of something who studied fashion design in Florence and Milan!
His delicate cream and black lined suit with matching heels were just to die for, especially with the chic fascinator hat he wore for the ceremony.
Looking at the photos, the day feels so unhurried and but joyfully anticipatory at the same time. Their family and friends were just so happy for them and to be there celebrating their love story.
When all was said and done and they were married, that’s when the energy got turned all the way up. Ryan did an amazing outfit change to a white silk backless jumpsuit and the party popped off! It was a dance party like no other, and everyone’s faces were just so expressive. Pure joy.
Jeremy and Ryan, thank you so much for inviting us to your party!
